Laporterie Signs PRO Contract!

Congratulations to F.A.S.T. athlete Val Laporterie on signing your first Professional Hockey Contract with Nantes in the France 2 League!

Laporterie spent last season with the Chicago Cougars in the USPHL collecting 12 Points in 36 Games Played as a defensive Defenseman who was a key to the Cougars Penalty Killing units and locker room. This past season was his second year of Junior hockey in North America having spent last year in Canada.

Laporterie skated with Coach Stoffers in the F.A.S.T. Spring hockey program while he was in Chicago after the season before heading to France. Congrats to Val and good luck beginning your professional career!
