Chicago Cougars 3-Peat Division Champs!

Congratulations to the Chicago Cougars Junior hockey team, 3 Peat Champions in the USPHL Midwest East Division. The Cougars finish 2019-20 atop their division with a 34-9-1 record, 71 Points good enough for 4th in the 51 team league nationwide. The Cougars have been training with F.A.S.T. and Coach Brad Stoffers since their inception in 2015. This is their 5th season in the USPHL, 3rd Division title. Congrats Cougars!

The Cougars had many individual accolades along the way with Breydon Hemminger and Jozef Martancik both achieving 100 career Points in a Cougars uniform, 7 times a COugars player was named league Player of the Week, Goaltender Alex Shaults had the 2nd highest SAVE % for a rookie (7th overall) in the league, Defenseman Sam Mudd was USPHL January Defenseman of the month, and many more.

As a team the Cougars scored the most Goals (299), Highest PowerPlay% (32%), and best Goal Differential in the entire USPHL Premier League.

The Cougars will have a first round playoff bye and host the lowest remaining seed March 6th, 7th, and 8th for a chance to enter the national tournament the following weekend. Goo luck Cougars and congratulations on the 3-Peat!
